Coding Courses for Y1 – Y12 Students

Beginners Level 3

Mosman

Location: Mosman Art Gallery, Art Gallery Way & Myahgah Road, Mosman
Time: Every Monday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Duration: 9 weeks, from 24 July till 18 September
Fee: $198 per student per term (GST inclusive). Late enrolments are accepted with a pro rata payment
Level: Y1 – Y6 continuing students and digitally savvy beginners
Laptops are provided
Description: Students learn computational thinking concepts and master their coding skills further while creating more complex games and interactive projects in Scratch Programming Environment. 

 

 

 

Web Development & Python

Time: Every Monday, 4:40 pm – 5:40 pm
Duration: 9 weeks, from 24 July till 18 September
Fee: $198 per student per term (GST inclusive). Late enrolments are accepted with a pro rata payment
Level: Y5 – Y7 students with previous coding experience 
Laptops are provided
Description: Students learn the fundamental principles of coding and Web Development using Python while developing a prototype of their own version of Google Translator. Students will build a web application that translates numbers from English into an aboriginal language. 

 

 

 

UNITY 3D & C#

Duration: 9 weeks, from 24 July till 18 September

Level: Y7 – Y12 students with previous coding experience 
Laptops are provided
Description: Students progress their computer science skills by learning the fundamentals of C# programming, management of a 3D game environment, and understanding the core concepts of level designing. An introduction to mobile (Android) and VR (Google cardboard) development is also covered.
