Why coding?

Declan Carveth

Declan is a final-year game development student at UTS. He first started programming in primary school, using Scratch and more to make games. Over the 10+ years since he started programming, Declan has built skills in Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, and more and has substantial experience with many game engines, including Unity and Unreal. He is also currently working with fellow UTS game development students to independently release an upcoming game made in the Unity engine. Declan is passionate about learning and is always keen to go above and beyond to build his students’ understanding.
