Robotics, Selective Class, Mosman Art Gallery Term 1, 2018

Robotics Pro Course for Y6 – Y11 Students

The class is run by Jesse Clark

This Robotics Course aims to teach students to build robots from electrical components and program them to navigate autonomously. The students will use the C programming language to write realtime microcontroller code. Coding involved in robotics is often both simple (in terms of quantity of code) and very complex (in terms of understand complex Maths and algorithms needed to interact with real world phenomena). We will use Arduino robots and platform, which expose students to a wider array of components, concepts and challenges.

By the end of the course students should:

Pre-requisites: to attend this selective class, the students need to be either recommended by their current coding teacher or have a proven extensive coding experience in any programming languages. The course is strictly for Y6 – Y11 students.
