New Programming Courses in Castle Hill Community Centre

Two new Beginners programming courses in Castle Hill in TERM 4 are ready for online enrolments These GAME DEVELOPMENT Courses are suitable for Y1-Y6 students, who have no or just a little programming experience. Students will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills by learning to code.

We will use Scratch, a block-based programming environment that allows students to build amazing projects from day one. Students will build computer games and animated stories while learning the basics of programming concepts. All our classes are entirely project based with show-case days where students demonstrate their projects to others and to their parents. All equipment is provided.

Location: Castle Hill Community Centre (at Castle Grand), Garden Room, 14 Pennant Street, Castle Hill
Time: Every Thursday, 3:50pm – 4:50pm
Course Duration: 10 weeks, from 13 October till 15 December
Price: $220 (GST inclusive) per student per term
Level: For Y1-Y6 students with no or just a little programming experience
Course description: Students learn the main programming concepts while creating their own computer games and interactive animated projects in Scratch Programming Environment.
