Coding Courses at Waverley Library

Learn to code from Beginners to Pro. Waverley Library, every Wednesday during school terms. Y1 – Y5 students learn to program and build cool games and interactive projects using Scratch. Problem solving, math, physics, art and music all are covered. Y6 – Y12 students learn the fundamental principles of Web Development using Python while developing a prototype of their own version of Google Translator.

 

 

Scratch Beginners Level 2

Location: Waverley Library, 32-48 Denison Street, Bondi Junction
Time: Every Wednesday, 3:50 pm – 4:50 pm
Duration: 10 weeks, from 26 April till 28 June
Fee: $220 per student per term (GST inclusive)
Level: Y1 – Y6 continuing students and digitally savvy beginners, who are keen to join
Description: Students go deeper into the main programming concepts while creating their own computer games and interactive animated projects in Scratch.

Web Development

Location:  Waverley Library, 32-48 Denison Street, Bondi Junction
Time:  Every Wednesday, 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Duration: 10 weeks, from 26 April till 28 June
Fee:  $220 per student per term (GST inclusive)
Level: Y7 – Y12 students with previous coding experience
Description: Students learn the fundamental principles of programming and Web Development using Python while developing a prototype of their own version of Google Translator. Students will build a web application that translates numbers from English into an aboriginal language.
