Game Production & Publishing - CODE4FUN:

Game Production & Publishing Online via Zoom

You’ve learned how to code games – now it’s time to release one!
Join a professional game developer Andrew Diggins in a year-long course that takes you through the full professional process of creating, polishing, and publishing a real game to the public.

Across four school terms, you’ll:

  • Plan and prototype using industry tools like JIRAGitHub, and professional game documentation.
  • Build and refine your game with practical art, audio, and development workflows.
  • Playtest, polish, and submit your project for the Australian STEM Video Game Challenge. While doing so you will learn about marketing your game – by creating a video clip promoting your game
  • Publish your finished game on platforms like Itch.io, learn the basics of online marketing, and release it to a real audience.

By the end of the year, you won’t just be a game developer – you’ll be a published game developer.
