Computer Game Development Course for High School Students

Enrolment in Computer Game Development course for High school students is now open!

Students will design and develop their own  3D games in Unity 3D environment (www.unity3d.com) – one of the most powerful engine for game developers. Students will learn C# programming language and explore all aspects of game creation. Students will also learn how to install their projects on their smartphone or tablet.

Students with some programming experience or digitally savvy beginners are welcome.

Where: Mosman Art Gallery

When: every Monday from 5:50pm to 6:50pm

Course commences 2 May and concludes 27 June 2016

Term 2: From Scratch to Stencyl and Unity3d. New courses and locations

One-Day Coding Camps

Term 2 Enrolment into weekly coding classes is now open! Six different locations and 13 classes this term. From Beginners to Pro, students learn, create, solve problems and build their very own computer projects. Game Development, Web Development, where do you want to start?

For Primary school students:

Students from Year 1 to Year 5 with some minor experience in coding, or beginners who are digitally savvy and keen to catch up are very welcome to join our courses in the following locations:

– Mosman Art Gallery, Mosman on Mondays 3:30 pm

– 1st Balgowlah Scouts Hall, Balgowlah on Tuesdays 5:10 pm

– DaVinci Hub, Five Dock on Saturdays 2:10 – 3:10 pm

During this course students go deeper into the main programming concepts while creating their own computer games and interactive animated projects in Scratch Programming Environment.

Students from Year 2 to Year 6 who have done two or more courses of coding with us or with other coding schools are very welcome to join our advanced courses in the following locations:

  • Mosman Art Gallery, Mosman on Mondays 4:40 – 5:40 pm

Student develop their own mobile apps using Stencyl programming environment

  • Mosman Art Gallery, Mosman on Thursdays 4:40 – 5:40 pm

This course is designed for continuing students and digital savvy beginners wishing to acquire advanced skills in Scratch. Students develop complex computer games using advanced programming features 

  • DaVinci Hub, Five Dock on Saturdays 1:00 – 2:00 pm

This course is designed for continuing students wishing to acquire advanced skills in Scratch. Students develop complex computer games using advanced programming features 

For High School students:

High School students from Year 7 to Year 11 are welcome to join our Pro coding classes in two following locations:

  • Mosman Art Gallery, Mosman on Mondays 5:50 – 6:50 pm

Students build advanced gaming projects using Unity3d, which is a high-end professional game engine.  Suitable for students with some coding experience.

  • DaVinci Hub, Five Dock on Saturdays 3:30 – 4:30 pm

This course teaches the fundamentals of designing and building a web application with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  At the end of the course students will be able to create their own interactive web application that is fun to share with their friends and family. Suitable for beginners and for those with minor experience in coding
